Everything You Need To Know About Noida
Introduction to Noida
Here is Everything you need to know about Noida. From It's History to how it is now so let's get started. Noida is widely recognized as one of Uttar Pradesh's most important cities in northern India. The town was established on April 17, 1976, through the initiatives of Sanjay Gandhi and is widely recognized as Noida Day. One of the country's largest industrial towns, this industrial city is connected to Delhi via a variety of networks, including the Metro Rail and other road systems like the DND flyover and other national highways. It is located in the National Capital Region of India. For those who are curious, Delhi Noida Direct Flyway is the full name of the DND flyway.
Why is it called Noida?
The full form of Noida is “New Okhla Development Authority” and is situated in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Gautam Budh Nagar District. The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, or NOIDA, is in charge of overseeing this proposed city. A part of India's National Capital Region, Noida is a satellite city of Delhi. Â
Location of Noida
Noida is located in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar district. Situated 14 miles from Connaught Place, New Delhi, the center of the Indian capital, this area is part of the capital region. The executive office is situated in the Greater Noida area. The town and the Princess Bagh area of Noida are connected by the 550-meter, eight-lane DND Toll that crosses the Yamuna River. Noida lies close to the NH-24 Bye-Pass in the north, the Hindon Stream in the east, and the Yamuna Stream in the west. The Hindon River and the Yamuna River link the town to the south. Â
History of Noida
The development of modern-day Noida town began in 1972 when the Uttar Pradesh government, aware of the increasing pressure from speculative land deals in this area, which was close to Delhi and had a backward development pattern, designated 50 villages in the former Bulandshahar district as the “Yamuna-Hindon-Delhi Border Regulated area” following the U.P. Regulation of Building Operations Act, 1958. Although the newly designated Regulated Area's regulating Authority took into consideration several development-related factors, they were unable to significantly contribute to the creation of a new urban center. To ensure the planned development of the area for industrial and related uses, the Uttar Pradesh government finally designated 36 villages of the "Yamuna-Hindon-Delhi Border Regulated Area" as New Okhla Industrial Development Area (NOIDA) on April 17, 1976. It is thought that the father of Ravana was born in Noida. Both the Pandavas and the Kauravas trained at Guru Dronacharya's ashram in Noida, according to the epic Mahabharata. It was the urbanization rebellion that led to the establishment of Noida. Â
Courts
The District Court for Noida, Greater Noida is situated at District Court Complex, Surajpur, Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh with 18 courts in function. Before 1997 the Court was situated at Ghaziabad afterward the Court of Gautam Budh Nagar was formed in the year 1997 at Phase II, Noida which was later in 2012 got transferred to a new Building at Surajpur, greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar. Â
Connectivity in Noida
Metro in Noida Noida offers excellent underground real estate. Although it was supposed to open in Noida by 2011, it did so on November 12, 2009—ten months ahead of schedule and the Commonwealth Games. It has excellent underground access to Noida. Right now, the Blue Line underground connects it to Connaught Place, Dwarka Subtown, and the Indian capital. Another underground route that connects Sector-51 in Noida and the GNIDA headquarters in Greater Noida is called the Turquoise Route. It is now in use.  Roads in Noida Noida offers sensible road properties in the Delhi NCR and many cities of Uttar Pradesh. Since Noida is a planned town, all major roads are four lanes wide, arrow-straight, and well-finished. The DND migration route, the Noida-Greater Noida state highway, and the Yamuna state highway are its three primary motorways. The Yamuna state highway links larger Noida to Agra via Mathura, while the DND migration route links Noida, Delhi, and Noida. Â
Conclusion
Noida, a major industrial town in Uttar Pradesh, was established on April 17, 1976, by Sanjay Gandhi. It is connected to Delhi via various networks, including the Metro Rail and DND flyover. The city is part of India's National Capital Region and is a satellite city of Delhi. The development of modern-day Noida began in 1972 when the Uttar Pradesh government designated 50 villages in the former Bulandshahar district as the "Yamuna-Hindon-Delhi Border Regulated area" as New Okhla Industrial Development Area (NOIDA). The city is connected to Delhi via the 550-meter, eight-lane DND Toll that crosses the Yamuna River. The city is believed to be the birthplace of Ravana and the training ground for Pandavas and Kauravas in Guru Dronacharya's ashram. Noida offers excellent underground real estate, with the Blue Line and Turquoise Route connecting it to Connaught Place, Dwarka Subtown, and the Indian capital. Its major roads are four lanes wide, arrow-straight, and well-finished. Read the full article

Which is the best wildlife safari in India to take up in March?
Dudhwa National Park, Uttar Pradesh, India
Located in the dense forests of the sub-Himalayan belt and eastern border of Uttar Pradesh, is the majestic Dudhwa National park that is known to accommodate some of the most endangered wildlife species, both in plants and animals. It covers the entire regions of Kheri and Lakhimpur districts of U.P. which falls under the Theri belt in the sub-tropical range of Himalayas (you had been probably thinking by now that, it’s like sitting right in the snowy Himalayas but it’s not, it is beautiful in its own way. FYI, not everything is about hills)
Dudhwa wildlife sanctuary is the expanded version of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve that was established in 1879. Since then, it has grown into a land reserve of more than 993km/ per square. It not only offers deep forests and marshy green lands but also freshwater lakes, river streams, brooks and amazing sightseeing bunkers. Over time it has developed into a best national park, where adventure knows no limit, either with friends or family (lonely and sad people are advised to visit Dudhwa national park immediately as it will definitely keep their spirits high and will eventually realize that something in life is worth living also)
This blog serves as a platter for a healthy and interesting breakfast to the people interested in a getaway from Delhi and looking forward to visiting Dudhwa National Park but don’t know how to get started in the first place. Perhaps we have answered all the possible questions that you could ask to ensure a safe and enthralling experience at the Dudhwa.
Why should you explore Dudhwa National Park?
Why wouldn’t you explore this beautiful National Park in India? (Perhaps a high-level geek)
Reasons why you should definitely backpack for it:
It is home to probably one of the biggest and oldest Tiger safari in India and to the almost endangered Indian Rhinoceros species.
Majestic and scenic views go far beyond the horizon.
Places to visit near Delhi within 300 km.
Best Sal trees in the world that grows to the height of up to 21m and are more than 150 years in age. ( If you are lucky, you might find a betaal hanging over your head)
Other than the nearby tourist attractions, you probably need to get out of your house and start exploring some places other than the northern region.
The best 2 days or 3 days getaway things to do near Delhi, Madhya Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh itself.
And how about the fact that National Parks in India are much-underrated tourist attractions in India, so be a part of a rich and diversified Dudhwa National Park. (Your photos might bring a valuable amount of tourists to the reserve)
How should you reach Dudhwa?
Well, that’s an interesting question for someone who was not even aware of such a place. No problem, every cloud has a grey lining. (I know it’s a silver lining, stop correcting me)
There are 3 ways to reach Dudhwa but not directly (Until and unless you know how to fly then it might be the fourth way around):
By Airplane
The nearest airport to the Dudhwa national park is the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, which is 191kms from the park. (In case you were thinking, there might be an airport inside the sanctuary)
By Train
There are 3 railway stations through which you can reach the park one is Dudhwa Railway station, second is Palia and the third is Mailani station. Till here you can board the train and then a local transport would be more than happy to take you there.
By Road
Well, by road there is no obstruction, till where you can reach. You can start from your home and can reach Dudhwa by road. (I cannot guarantee the pathetic road condition of India).
The thing to be noted here is that you will not be allowed to take your personal vehicle inside the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve because then you will be taken in the safaris, approved by the government of India. (Even if your “Chacha is Vidhayak”)
Where should you stay at Dudhawa National Park?
Dudhawa region is the mix of 2 other large national wildlife reserves, that is Katerniaghet wildlife sanctuary and Kishanpur Wildlife sanctuary which is home to some splendid scenic routes and marshy plains. As I mentioned earlier it would not be possible for you to cover the entire Dudhwa national park in a day or two because it will consume at least 3 days to even cover up a significant part of the reserve, given that you will camp in different regions of the forest area.
Since we are not living anymore in the 20th century, there has been increasing in the resorts and hotels nearby the area which is enlisted online on trivago, make my trip or trip advisor. Other than this if by accident you happen to open the official website of the Dudhwa National Park then you can also find the listed resorts that are approved by the government of India and also the government lodge, available for stay and camping.
What are the best attractions in Dudhwa Reserve?
There is an endless list of attractions inside the Dudhwa Wildlife Sanctuary that you could probably never see in your this life. Though, there are enough to keep you naturally intoxicated for a while.
List of all the attractions and things worth watching:
Coming this far and not spotting the tiger is going to be an utter waste of your time. So, prior to anything clear your schedule for tiger reserve.
Boat safari at Kataraniaghat sanctuary is another thing that should be on your Dudhwa reserve bucket list. The sight of incredible scenic beauty while going through the dense canopy of Dudhwa tiger reserve is something very rare. (Pro tip: do not dip your hand in the lake, alligators are also prominent in the area.)
Elephant safari is another way of exploring the less seen part of the jungle. If you are lucky you may spot the herd of endangered Barasingha with 12 headlocks or swamped deer.
While exploring all the flora and fauna you might want to know the local tribe or people that have been residing in the area for so long. That is why you should visit the Manduk Mandir or you can say Frog temple. It is a lord Shiva temple and known to be timeless old in architecture. Other than that you can hire a local guide and meet the Tharu Tribe that lives on the sugarcane vegetation mainly. Their culture is quite unique.
Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary is another sanctuary inside Dudhwa, where you can spot wild boar, leopards, migrated birds, alligators and pythons. There is also one lake called Jhadi Tal that witnesses the sight of never before seen birds species. It would be worth your time and money both.
Shiv Temple Devkali is a famous temple among the locals as well as for tourists because it said that King Janmejay, the son of King Parikshit who was the last successor of Arjuna the fierce Mahabharata warrior and a Pandu, used to worship here. He did Naga Yagya so no snake could enter the area and even today it is prevalent even though the temple is for Lord Shiva. There are lots of other interesting folklores to listen to.
Naseeruddin Memorial Hall is another ancient piece of history that needs to be visited. Located in the Lakhimpur district only, it is a nice ancient memorial architecture to see and explore what is inside. Naseeruddin was a freedom fighter and was a major figure in the Khilafat movement.
Surprisingly there is a place called Sharda Barrage which is a dam situated on the Sharda river and located at a very reasonable distance from Dudhwa reserve in Lakhimpur-Kheri. It is a 136 km expanded range of national parks and a blissful place to relax. You can also enjoy some water sports.
I guess I have curated more than enough places for you to explore that will keep you busy for more than 3 days. You can know the location of these places easily because the state government has marked the areas and their routes everywhere. You can also opt for google maps for navigation. Although, the native people are very friendly and will help you in every way possible. (Not like Wasseypur U.P people, yelling always)
What else can be done while you are at Dudhwa National Park?
After exhausting all the suggestions and probably all your energy, if you still want to proceed a little farther for a good adventure then you can always go to NEPAL or Baria Wildlife Sanctuary which is the extended part of Dudhwa reserve. Also, Nepal is just 25 km away from Dudhwa and you do not need a passport to cross the border.
Hence, you know Nepal is famous for its rich biodiversity and sanctuaries. (If you will say you want to go even farther, then for god’s sake go to Mt.Everest, and jump off the cliff.)
What is the best time to visit Dudhwa?
The best time to visit would be in winter, from November to March. It will be a cool climate and sometimes even below 0 degrees as well when you enter the dense forests.
The summer season is also not that bad but the temperature can rise sometimes to 40 degrees Celsius and may cause dehydration. So, it is better to visit Dudhwa National park in winter.
Also, because maximum migratory bird species come to live here in the winters, so you do not want to miss that sight.
This is pretty much all the possible information you will need to know for planning a trip to Dudhwa National Park. We hope you are visiting soon and probably excited to explore such an underdog place, which is actually a splendid and never-ending experience of your life.
“If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.” ― Steve Irwin

Hundreds of farmers under the banner of Bhartiya Kisan Union occupied the space beneath the flyover at the Ghaziabad-Delhi border on Saturday. They were protesting against the three farm laws and demanded that minimum support price be made mandatory by law.
Prepared for the long haul
The farmers parked tractors, trolleys and cars beneath the flyover. Rugs were spread, speakers were put up, hookahs were lit and preparation were being done to cook food at the site.
Earlier, they broke barriers at the Delhi-Ghaziabad border and entered Delhi on Saturday afternoon. Despite heavy security presence along the way, the Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Ghaziabad Police allowed them to proceed towards Delhi.
Delhi Police had given them permission to go to the Burari ground but the farmers wanted to go to Jantar Mantar or Ramlila Maidan.
Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said the breaking of barriers was “symbolic”.
He said there was no point going to Burari and that they would hold a sit-in dharna under the flyover and “wait for their farmer brothers from different districts of western Uttar Pradesh to join them to move further”.
“I expect a call from the government on Sunday but we are ready for the long haul,” he said. He also asked the administration to provide them mobile lavatories.
Wait and watch
“We told them that we would escort the farmers to the Burari ground but they refused. We also allowed them to take a couple of tractors with them but they decided to wait at the border. They broke the barrier inside the Uttar Pradesh border,” said Jasmeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Eastern District), who was negotiating with farmers till late evening. “The situation is under control. We are in touch with our counterparts in Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
As the farmers decided to stay beneath the flyover, he said, their presence did not affect the flow of traffic.
While the U.P. Police officials present on the ground said there was no permission to hold a protest beneath the flyover, they seemed in no mood to remove the protesting farmers.
Vijaypal Ghopla, a 74-year-old farmer from Meerut said this government felt that it was offering a mithai (farm laws). “We don’t want it and wouldn’t allow you to shove it down our throat. The farm laws have been designed to help a few corporates control the agriculture, sector,” he argued.
